The Senior Metallurgist is responsible for providing technical and metallurgical support to the process plant.

This position is responsible for monitoring the control system to ensure control loops are well tuned.

This position is responsible for leading a mechanical team to success in the maintenance of process plant to ensure availability of the plant and are met.

This position is responsible for providing detailed planned maintenance and shutdown schedules to facilitate the maintenance of the plant

This position is responsible for carrying out safe lifting and movement of loads, plant machinery, inspecting and servicing lifting equipment throughout the site.

This position is responsible for aligning and anchoring the machinery, attaching loads, controlling the movement of heavy equipment, and ensuring the rigging is safe for use.

The role is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the site’s emergency response systems, plans and procedures, the management and coordination of the Mine Emergency Response Team activities.

The position will be responsible for updating, implementing, and managing the HR policies at the Motheo Copper Mine.
